Cat Boarding in Lawrence, KS
Even though cats can be far more independent than dogs, leaving a cat at home alone is never a good idea. At Gentle Care Animal Hospital, we provide your cat a place to stay where they will get the care and attention they need while you have to be away.
A Note About Our Cat Boarding Policy
To make sure all animals that board with us are safe during their stay, we do have a few policies to keep in mind. Your cat must be up to date on their vaccinations, and if your cat shows signs they are ill during their stay, we do treat the animal at your expense. We also ask that you provide us with an emergency contact number where we can reach you if anything goes wrong.
What to Bring with Your Feline for Cat Boarding
Certain items from home will make your kitty much more comfortable while they are in our care. We generally recommend that pet owners bring their cat’s preferred food in with them, so the cat gets the same nutrition during their stay. A few other items you may want to bring include:
- A small favorite blanket, pillow, or article of clothing from home
- A few toys
- Medications your cat must take on a daily basis along with dosage instructions
- Favorite treats
We will provide your cat with a private place, so they can have their own space during their stay, and food and water bowls will be provided.
